InselAir's New Route: Miami – Cuba
MIAMI, WILLEMSTAD – The local aviation company InselAir started
yesterday with charter flights from Miami to Cuba. In partnership with
three U.S. agencies they provide up to nine daily flights to four
different destinations in Cuba.
This major contract for InselAir is the result of four years of
intensive negotiations. This is according to Jurgen Lippinkhof, Chief
Commercial Officer (CCO) of the airline.
The three U.S. operators may not fly to Cuba so they use InselAir. The
airlines started yesterday operating flights between Miami, Santiago de
Cuba, Camaguey, Holguin and Havana.
The agreement is for an indefinite period.
