Iran Ready to Export Construction Materials to Cuba

Cuba's Internal Trade Minister Jacinto Angulo Pardo announced of his
country's readiness to boost ties with Iran in trade, commerce and
economic fields asking for construction material imports from the
Islamic Republic.

Referring to his country's readiness to expand commercial and industrial
cooperation with Iran, Pardo said that "given Iran's developments in
various economic fields, it is necessary for us to use this country's
know-how in dealing with international sanctions."
"Havana is attentive to Iran's industrial and economic achievements," he
said at a meeting wiht Tehran ambassador to Havana, adding that Cuba
wants to take advantage of Iran's experience in establishment of
industrial refrigerating warehouses to store foodstuffs and fruits.
"We are also interested in importing construction materials from the
Islamic Republic of Iran."
Iran's ambassador to Cuba, Ali Cheginni, for his part announced
readiness to expand ties with Cuba in various economic fields.
He delivered a report on Iran's recent achievements especially on
cutting subsidies.
